Dec-25 Robotex International (25th Season)

The micro Lab @seti.gr is a vibrant volunteer-driven workshop dedicated to the world of science and technology — from computers, programming, robotics, and microprocessors to astronomy and beyond.
Our mission is to share knowledge, spark curiosity & imagination, and bring ideas to life!
We strive to cultivate a fun, creative, friendly, social, and safe environment where members can learn, experiment, and grow together. At the same time, we encourage active participation in exciting activities such as competitions, events, and collaborative projects.

A weekend full of coding! On 5/11 the results were announced… we took 16th place!!!
Our team MicroLab Union won third place in the LEGO Line Following (under 14 years old) category and qualified for Robotex International, which will be held in Tallinn, Estonia, in Dec-25. They also automatically qualified for the Estonia finals in the Maze category.
We participated in three categories, and in early September the results were announced — one of our students qualified for the finals!
Our team MicroLab Union received third place in the Rising All-Star Award.
Our team MicroLab Union took third place in Robo Game, received third place in the Robot Performance Award, and qualified for the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge 2025 Finals.
The members of our team MicroLab Union participated in the competition for the first time. It was a unique, life-changing experience, achieving second place in Greece and putting on a very impressive performance at the global competition in Tallinn, Estonia on 6/12, competing against nearly 60 teams from around the world!
Our team MicroLab Union prepared their robot (Herbie) for the international competition, which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on 6/12 & 7/12.
Our team MicroLab Union took second place and qualified for Robotex International, which will be held in Tallinn, Estonia in Dec-24.

Our team MicroLab Explorers! presented their themed park construction!
Our team MicroLab Challengers’ robot (BBRC) took 38th place.
Our team MicroLab Explorers! presented their construction “Our Good and Beautiful School”.
Our team MicroLab Challengers qualified for the finals! They took 16th place, with the top 23 teams advancing.
The MicroLab teams are participating in Astro Pi – Mission Zero.

Our team MicroLab Challengers participated in FIRST® LEGO® League Athens.

MicroLab participated in Moonhack 2023, organized by the Code Club Australia.

MicroLab participated in the European Code Week, which aims to make programming accessible to everyone in a fun and engaging way.

MicroLab participated in the NASA Observe Moon Night event.

MicroLab started its first classes!
The Lego Education platform has simplified things in robotics/STEM. Lego WeDo 2.0, EV3, and Spike Prime help us build a robot, because in addition to the bricks, wheels, gears, and axles, they provide sensors, motors, and a programmable controller.
The micro:bit platform helps in understanding microcontrollers, electronic components, and programming.
The Raspberry Pi platform covers a wide range of microcontroller applications, from small projects to large/professional constructions.
